Kurumi has become more real

Description

I recently took up 3D modeling in Blender because I've been wanting to make 3D low-poly chibi figures of my characters for quite some time now. The program and the controls took a bit of getting used to, but this is my first 3d model. Not bad if I say so myself. I did everything by heart here, no prebuilt models or references. *pride*
But 3D-Kurumi is still far from done. She still needs textures and bones for animations. And different outfits too of course. The advantage of 3d is that once you get the base done it's easy to make changes. You can just use the same model for every other character, and changing their hair and clothes doesn't interfere with the animations (too much).

But let's not get ahead of myself, I'm not even planning of doing anything with 3D models, because that would also require me to learn to use Unity. And that when a new version of Game Maker is around the corner! So for now I just make these for fun.

Time spent on this: 4-5 hours?

So the 3d bug bit you too? I've been looking into this stuff too. Hopefully when I get my laptop I'll do this stuff too. And since I have a lot of characters... Let's just say I'd be rather busy. But since my style is rather simple combined with not really doing much outside of digital work. It will hopefully cut SOME time in modeling. Not by much however.
